Amazing Space Game So Far
Obviously pay to win as all games like this which is why I wont give 5 stars. But through time a free to play player can earn everything it seems! So kudos to the devs for that :)
Not a game
I’m quite harsh on all of these type of products.
This is not a game it is a strategic time waster.
Within the opening 5 minutes of user controlled operation you receive a gambling token , a time speed up , and a hero token to “star up” a character.
All 3 of these items notate something. That the experience has been designed from the ground up to waste your time , unless of course you would like to pay to skip this synthetically created time wasting experience. You do not progress your hero’s power through what any rational non lawyer would call “gameplay” but through randomness via currency which I like to call gambling.
Tragic slop just like the entire mobile scene. Nothing new to see here. It’s a shame because games like destiny show us what the tech and development community is capable. Yet we are still served slop and asked if we would like to pay extra for it.
Different take on the empire builder... but...
This is an empire builder. In and of itself, that's not really a big deal. Competitive empire building can be fun. And this game puts a different spin on it that I think it's unique, though it's possible there are many others like it that I just haven't seen because I tend to avoid empire builders. Why do I avoid empire builders? Because, at least in the mobile scene, they are all predatory, with expensive pay to win features. If you're not prepared to spend thousands of dollars (not hundreds, but thousands), you will, at some point, usually about 2 weeks or so in, become someone else's farm. And this game is no exception. I really wanted to like it, but the predatory pay to win part of it just kills it for me.
