Description

NSStoryboard.instantiateController(identifier:handler:) method returns a type mismatch error., causing managed reference conflicts

Steps to Reproduce

In Objective-C, the
instantiateControllerWithIdentifier:creator:
method returns an id type,
whereas in .NET for Mac
NSStoryboard.instantiateController(identifier:handler:)
it returns an NSViewController.

This causes the method to be unable to initialize an NSWindowController.
