[Android] Image randomly disappears while switching tabs due to a race condition #30728

First of all, some context on Android image loading while switching tabs #24023
#28405 introduced a change in SR8 which caused a regression of the aforementioned issue.
I can confirm that removing that change fixes the issue.
Steps to Reproduce
Use the attached UITest and navigate between tabs very fast, at some point icons will disappear.
