GAPIC generation suddenly started failing with the message 'Directory not empty'. The reason was, when GAPIC generation logic kicked in for the first time there was no _storage_v2 directory and therefore it renamed the storage_v2 to _storage_v2. But when the GAPIC generation started for the second time, the _storage_v2 directory is no longer empty and therefore the rename operation was unsuccessful.
