I pushed two commits into this PR to change the comments on the VSO-2228189 workarounds to indicate they are now for NVCC and not IntelliSense. I also changed the references to the corresponding DevCom-10732572.

Looks purr to me! (We usually say CUDA instead of NVCC these days, but it's not worth resetting testing.) Thanks, this one wasn't on my radar.
