How to change ownership of an iPad but retain Procreate files?
Follow these steps if you are changing the ownership of an iPad and want to retain your Procreate files.
Back up your Procreate files as .procreate files to iCloud drive or an external storage device such as a laptop, desktop computer, or external hard drive.
Download the Procreate files back onto the iPad and open in Procreate when prompted or import the Procreate files into the Files app and drag-and-drop from Files app into the Procreate Gallery.
Heads Up
If you or the new user doesn’t already own Procreate, they will need to purchase it from the App Store or load one onto the iPad via Family Sharing .
