Who is the woman in Netflix's The Woman in Cabin 10?

The Woman in Cabin 10 follows an investigative journalist who witnesses a harrowing incident.

WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS SPOILERS

The Woman in Cabin 10 is on Netflix and the film stars Keira Knightley as Laura "Lo" Blacklock, a journalist covering the maiden voyage of a luxury cruise ship.

Not long into her stay, she is convinced she has witnessed a passenger being thrown off the balcony in cabin 10, but she is informed no-one was staying in said cabin.

The final episode saw Lo trying to escape the clutches of Richard Bullmer (Guy Pearce) and his staff, some of whom were in on his dark secret.

After Lo finally caught up with the mystery woman, she believed it to be Anne (Gitte Witt), Richard's dying wife.

However, after noticing some subtle differences in the woman's behaviour, Lo realised it was not Anne after all.

After locking her away from the rest of the passengers and crew, the woman in cabin 10 divulged she was in fact called Carrie.

Richard had used a facial recognition system to track her down as she had a stark resemblance to his wife.

He then hired her to pose as Anne and sign a new will, which would mean all of her money and assets would go to him.

Although she was terrified, Carrie accepted the job to make money to provide for her daughter.

It transpired Anne was actually killed by her husband on the night Lo heard all of the commotion in the cabin next door.

When he found out she was going to hand over all of their money after her death, he was not happy.

Carrie had no idea Anne would suffer the way she did, she simply thought she would pose as Anne to sign the documentation and then be set free.

However, Lo was correct in informing her Richard would not have let her leave the boat alive, as she knew too much.

In the end, Lo managed to convince some of Richard's staff and friends that he was a fraud and a murderer, but he proceeded to hold Carrie hostage, threatening to kill her if anyone called the police.

Thankfully, Lo managed to keep Carrie out of the way for long enough so Nilssen (Amanda Collin) could shoot him, and he was killed.

Carrie was then free to return to her daughter and she continued her long-distance friendship with Lo.
