EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Traitors star Ekin-Su desperate to team up with Alan Carr as they issue warning
Ekin-Su Culculoglu 'loves' Alan Carr and 'wishes' he was on her series, however, draws from her own experience and warns his ‘mask’ could ‘slip' and he could be banished
Ekin-Su Culculoglu has revealed she wishes Alan Carr was on her series of The Traitors as she says he is ‘so entertaining’. Celebrity Traitors has been an undeniable hit since it started, with Alan going undetected, but Ekin-Su warns his ‘mask’ could ‘slip’.
Ekin-Su has had many TV stints since she first stepped foot into the spotlight when she won Love Island in 2022 alongside her ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti. However, one of her most memorable appearances was featuring as a faithful on The Traitors US.
When The Mirror caught up with Ekin-Su at the Pride Of Britain awards, she revealed that she had been watching the latest series and ‘loves’ Alan Carr. She said of the Chatty Man: “I love Alan, I think he is great, he is so entertaining. I wish he was in my season when I was on it”.
While Ekin, along with the rest of us, is enjoying seeing Alan causing chaos on our screens, she has warned that things can take a turn quickly. She said: “It’s hard because you can start really well and then slip a little bit, and your mask falls off”.
The reality star was eliminated in episode 4 during her own season after being poisoned by fellow contestant Parvati Shallow with a poisoned chalice
Alan has become a fan favourite on the show after being chosen as a traitor in the first episode, along with Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.
At first, many thought he was a terrible traitor and wouldn’t last. However, he has slipped under the radar with his name barely mentioned.
Fans have been delighted by his antics and some even said they thought that, despite his lack of subtlety, he was playing a good game. "We all joked about Alan Carr being a s*** traitor BUT PLOT TWIST I genuinely thing he's doing the best job out of the three so far," a fan wrote on X.
One viewer said that Alan's time on the show has been the "best thing" of 2025. They wrote: "Can we all agree that casting Alan Carr as a Traitor is the best thing that's happened this year."
BBC bosses are reportedly lining up a substantial deal with Alan, as his popularity with audiences continues to soar while the show airs, with other production companies also expressing interest.
Nearly a decade ago, Alan's Channel 4 series, Chatty Man, was a hit with viewers. The star is now thought to be in early talks with the BBC for a new talk show. Several production companies are also thought to be interested in a show alongside his fellow traitor, Jonathan Ross.
