Coleen Rooney gives rare glimpse inside £20million mansion with Wayne

Coleen Rooney has given fans a look inside her £20million mansion - the stunning property she shares with husband Wayne and their four sons Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass

Coleen Rooney has offered fans a sneak peek into the lavish £20million mansion she shares with her husband Wayne.

The Rooney clan relocated to this opulent Cheshire residence around three-and-a-half years ago. This morning, Coleen treated her 1.5 million Instagram followers to a rare snapshot from within their home. The image showcases the grand entrance hall, an extravagant winding staircase and a massive chandelier.

A cosy seating area leads down a few steps into what seems to be the living room. Coleen captioned the post: "Thanks Hyper Cleaning for coming to the rescue while I was in the jungle. Fab as usual." The cleaning company is a favourite among celebrities such as Paris Fury, Peter Andre, Ashley Banjo and Joey Essex..

It's rumoured that Rooney shelled out £4million for the plot of land where the mansion stands back in 2017. Officially named High Lake Manor, the property sprawls across 50 acres of former farmland.

The six-bedroom palace boasts a football pitch, an underground tunnel, a wine cellar, a home cinema, a vast swimming pool and several bars. There's also a dazzling trophy room where Rooney exhibits his accolades.

An impressive collection of memorabilia including England caps, Manchester United shirts, match balls, trophies, medals and man of the match champagne bottles adorn the walls. Their home is nestled in Cheshire’s affluent "Golden Triangle", a neighbourhood favoured by many footballers.

While there home may be standing in all its glory, Coleen recently revealed Wayne once risked a fire in their home when he blew up a hairdryer while trying to sleep.

The WAG, 38, who has been married to the football star since 2008, opened up about her bond with her husband, her I'm A Celebrity stint as well as the infamous Wagatha Christie trial during a chat with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Ian Wright on the Stick to Football podcast.

In one hilarious moment, the I'm A Celebrity runner-up revealed Wayne sometimes uses a hairdryer to help him sleep as he finds the calm noise soothing. However, the white noise almost turned into a raging fire when he blew up the hairdryer while trying to have a little rest.

Speaking about the near-disaster, Coleen explained: “It’s a fan when I’m in the bed, but if not, it is a hairdryer. If I get up, if he’s still in bed I hear him get a hairdryer. Has he told you that it’s caught on fire before? The hairdryer is on cool, but one time he was cold, so it turned it to hot – and it blew up!”

Elsewhere in the podcast, she also told how she is so organised while her lads are so boisterous she has a rota for literally everything. She said: “It’s madness, it’s just mayhem all the time. We have a rota of who gets to sit at the front [of the car] going to school. Even though there is a rota, it’s just mayhem every morning.

"They just torment each other and it’s like a domino effect. It’s a lively house but it’s funny because everyone loves coming to our house, because it’s just entertaining. I grew up with two brothers, so I’m used to being around boys. I quite like the boys. Wayne would have liked a girl, and I think would I have clashed for a girl! Boys just get on with it and girls are more emotional.”
