Helen Flanagan ditches engagement ring as she hits red carpet after 'split' from fiancé

Helen Flanagan's engagement ring was seemingly nowhere to be seen as the star attended the Pride of Britain awards this evening, after reports the actress and Scott Sinclair have split after 13-years together

Helen Flanagan kept her left hand firmly out of shot as she posed at the Pride of Britain awards earlier this evening.

The mum-of-three, 32, looked sensational as she stunned on the red carpet in a strapless mini-dress but seemingly wasn't keen to accessorise her little red dress with her huge diamond engagement, amid claims she and fiancé Scott Sinclair have split.

Helen's appearance at the Pride of Britain awards comes just hours on from reports the former Coronation Street actress and Bristol Rovers footballer Scott, 33, have gone their separate ways after 13 years together.

As she walked the red carpet and posed for pictures outside at the Grosvenor House in London, Helen's huge diamond rock was seemingly nowhere to be seen, as the former soap star cleverly kept her left hand out of shot and hidden behind her back at times.

Scott and Helen have three children together – Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and son Charlie, 1 – and first started dating in 2009, with the footballer popping the question in 2018.

An insider claims the couple "hit a rough patch in the summer" and Helen has already told her close friends and family that she is "no longer with Scott".

"Helen has removed her engagement ring and told those close to her that she is no longer with Scott," they said.

"They hit a rough patch in the summer and after Helen came back from South Africa it ended for good," they added to The Sun.

"Helen and Scott have committed to co-parenting their kids as a family unit."

Scott and Helen reportedly called time on their relationship as the the former Corrie star finished filming ITV ’s I’m A Celebrity All Stars in South Africa.

The Pride of Britain awards returns for yet another year to celebrate the nation's everyday heroes and their bravery.

Every year, several well-known faces from celebrities, politicians and sports icons come together to celebrate the bravery and selflessness of the winners.

Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo have returned to co-host the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House, with the former Countdown presenter stunning in an upcycled dress on the red carpet earlier this evening.
