Jennifer Lopez's forgotten first husband Ojani Noa on 24th wedding anniversary

Cuban-born waiter turned occasional actor Ojani Noa spent the weekend ahead of what would have been his 24th wedding anniversary with Jennifer Lopez as he always does - working out, playing with his dog and sipping on a protein shake

He was once married to one of the world's most desirable women.

But on what would have been their 24th wedding anniversary, Jennifer Lopez's forgotten first husband Ojani Noa kept things low key.

The Cuban-born waiter turned occasional actor spent the weekend ahead of the memorable day as he always does - working out, playing with his dog, and sipping on a protein shake.

A regular user of social media, the muscled 46-year-old posts nearly daily updates to his respectable 38,000 Instagram followers.

While today J Lo is fresh from her acclaimed performance at Joe Biden's inauguration and planning her next wedding - to baseball star Alex Rodriguez - Ojani lives a quiet life.

But while his world is far from the celebrity bubble in which his ex lives, he seems happy and content.

Ojani spends hours working up a sweat boxing in the sunshine, or masked at the gym.

He then shows off the impressive results as he bares his tanned muscled chest shirtless at his backyard pool, with Blondie, a golden retriever, often at his side.

Working at a Miami restaurant owned by Gloria Estefan, Ojani was a humble waiter when he charmed J Lo not long before her big break in Selena.

After a whirlwind romance, the pair wed on February 22 1997, but by the following year the marriage had broken down.

Speaking on her own YouTube channel J Lo said: "I've never been married in a church.

"I've been married three times, and once was nine months and once was 11 months, so I don't really count those."

Following their split, Ojani attempted to have a career on film.
