Panicked Stacey Solomon notices baby is 'missing' after Joe Swash gets distracted

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have six children together, including baby Belle, and the couple had been enjoying a family holiday in Dubai when the drama unfolded

Stacey Solomon was left in a panic after her husband, Joe Swash, made an awkward parenting gaffe during a chance encounter with football legend Rio Ferdinand. The beloved celebrity couple, stars of Stacey and Joe on the BBC, share six children between them in total: Harry, Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle, and were on holiday in the United Arab Emirates when the incident occurred.

They had been on holiday in Dubai at the time of the blunder when "starstruck" Joe spotted the football legend. Joe, who had been wheeling Belle in her pushchair, decided he wanted to "disturb him" while he was having breakfast.

It would lead to a rather awkward incident. Joe confessed: "I thought I'll disturb him having breakfast and introduce myself". But when he returned to his wife after half an hour, Stacey asked him: "Where's my baby?"

To which Joe sheepishly admitted: "I'd left the baby with Rio Ferdinand." Thankfully, there was no cause for alarm as the helpful Rio was already walking the baby back to them from across the hall.

Adding a humorous twist to the story, Ephraim Hardcastle of the Mail reports that Rio, told the EastEnders actor: "Swashy, you forgot something."

In other news, Stacey, who also stars in Sort Your Life Out, was recently moved to tears as she told her eldest son, Zachary, whom she shares with ex-partner Dean Cox, that he was "special" following a significant gesture.

Stacey, who welcomed Zachary when she was 17 before her stint on The X Factor, revealed that he'd been putting money aside to treat her to a getaway to Amsterdam (where he was attending a Pokémon Go event).

She posted a picture of the pair in the Netherlands on Instagram, along with text and a tearful emoji. She penned: "He's been saving from work and doing extra jobs at pickle cottage and my heart is so full right now.

"So we are walking around Amsterdam, chatting rubbish, taking tourist photos and catching Pokemon. Love you to the moon and back Zachy."

Stacey subsequently posted additional pictures and a heartfelt message. In one image, Stacey and Zachary were pictured on a canal boat, which had been decorated with artificial grass and blooms.

In the message, she called her eldest a "special one", observing that it was a "special kind of feeling" when an adult child takes a parent to "make memories" and the roles "start to reverse". She concluded the tribute by expressing gratitude to her son.

Her fans quickly responded. One remarked that Stacey had brought up a "good egg" before wishing them a "lovely time".

Another called it "lovely" before praising Amsterdam, describing it as an "amazing place".
