Rita Ora was seen heading to Heathrow Airport earlier today, avoiding bumping into her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday night.

The Hot Right Now star, who had to sit through DJ Calvin’s lovefest with new girlfriend Taylor Swift at the Billboard Awards recently, decided that she couldn’t make the ceremony in London where she was awarded Personality of the Year.

Blonde Rita got all emotional recently as she hit the stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend event as she performed I Will Never Let You Down, the track she created with her ex.

Before she started the song, Rita said: "You know when there is a song and no matter what happens the music still stands for itself."

On stage Reets appeared to get a little teary, and seemed to wipe them away as she said: "I get so emotional."

That was the same festival that Taylor Swift was headlining.

Elsewhere, Ellie Goulding and Suki Waterhouse were some of the stars honoured at the awards ceremony.

The event, which was hosted by Claudia Winkleman, was hosted at Berkeley Square Gardens where Hollywood stars including Kerry Washington and Goldie Hawn graced the red carpet.

Host Claudia Winkleman hit the jackpot by becoming a winner on the night too by scooping an award with her Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daly.

Suki Waterhouse is becoming much more than a pretty face, as she scooped the award for next breakthrough star.

Receiving her award from Snow White and The Huntsman star Sam Claflin, she said: "I've been working really hard and want to make you guys proud!"
