Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse welcome first child and treat newborn to day out
Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are believed have welcomed their first child together, with the couple having been spotted out with a pram earlier this week
Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse were spotted out on a stroll in Los Angeles earlier this week with a pram, seemingly confirming the arrival of their first child.
The couple were spotted walking with a pink pram in the city recently. Footage from the outing shows Robert, 37, pushing the pram whilst walking beside his partner Suki, 32. Her mother is said to have accompanied them.
Robert - known for his roles in films like Twilight (2008) and the Batman (2022) - sported a grey hoodie, shorts and a padded coat whilst out with his family. Whilst model and fellow actor Suki opted to wear a lengthy black coat, with a pair of grey trousers visible underneath. The couple were both seen wearing baseball caps.
The footage, obtained by the Daily Mail, also shows actor Robert seemingly taking the baby out of the pram and into a car following the stroll. Suki, whose career also includes being a singer-songwriter, was seen beside him at the time.
It was reported last year that the couple, who are now believed to be engaged, were expecting their first child. Suki appeared to share the news whilst on stage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico back in November.
Speaking to the crowd, she teased: "[I decided to wear something particularly] sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that's going on." The singer-songwriter then gestured towards her apparent baby bump. Suki subsequently told the crowd: "I'm not sure if it's working."
There had been some speculation that the couple were expecting a baby together prior to the festival. A source told ET ahead of the event: "[They] are expecting their first child together. She is so happy, excited, and appreciative of this experience. Suki and Rob are adorable together."
Suki and Robert are understood to have been together since 2018. Although often keeping their relationship private, they have occasionally stepped out for red carpet events together, such as for the Met Gala in May last year.
The pair have also spoken about each other at time, with Suki having gushed about her relationship with Robert to the Sunday Times once. She said: "I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years." Suki added at the time that she finds her partner "hilarious".
Suki - who starred in Daisy Jones & The Six - said that she is "always incredibly excited" when she sees his name pop up on her phone or receives a text from him. She further told the outlet that she suspects that he "feel the same" about her.She also opened up about having children in the future, telling The Times previously: "You have to be like, 'I'm going be a sitting cow for a bit of time,' but it's going to be worth it." Suki said she "couldn't wait" and added: "I wish you could click your fingers to make it happen."
