1000-lb Sisters Tammy branded 'skinny queen' after dramatic weight loss

Tammy Slaton uploaded a number of new shots to her social media and was quickly met with an influx of proud comments from her followers

Tammy Slaton has continued to show off her huge weight loss, with fans of the star praising her impressive efforts.

Just last month, the 1000-lb Sisters star, 36, gushed about reaching her target weight loss, but she's continued to share her progress on social media - much to her fans' delight.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the reality TV star uploaded a series of selfies as she smiled at the camera. She was wearing a black t-shirt with a floral pattern as she posed outdoors.

And fans quickly flocked to the comments section of the post to share positive vibes, with one user labelling her a "skinny queen".

Another of her followers gleefully wrote: "Omg Tammy you look amazing! And no more trach! I have cried on every episode this season! You freakin did it, girl! I am so proud of you!"

Elsewhere, a user wrote: "I think I speak for everyone when I say WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU," while another urged her to take in all the positive comments.

"I hope you read every single one of these amazing comments and feel all the love. you’ve done amazing and look amazing," they wrote.

Her appearance also seemed to take some by surprise, with a number of fans doubting she'd be able to lose the weight. One user penned: "Gotta admit Tammy, you proved a whole lot of us wrong. Way to go & keep it up!" followed by a string of clapping hands emojis.

The star's rehabilitation came after her "body shut down," according to her sister Amy Slaton.

She was checked into a food rehabilitation centre after struggling with her weight for a number of years, and last year had to be rushed to the hospital after struggling with her breathing.

While in hospital, Tammy was given a tracheotomy, creating a hole in her throat to insert a breathing tube, and left using the tube for months.

The tube was later removed and she now uses an oxygen cannula.

Her impressive weight loss has seen her drop almost 200lbs, going from 717lbs to 550lbs - the weight required for her to be suitable for bariatric surgery.

In a recent episode of 1000lb Sisters, she explained that she was only able to reach her target thanks to the support of her family.

And she later took to TikTok to ask fans to "excuse" the way she now looks due to her huge weight loss.
