Celebrity Big Brother's Mickey Rourke unrecognisable after controversial TV stint

Celebrity Big Brother star Mickey Rourke was kicked out of the BB house earlier this year after 'use of inappropriate language' and 'instances of unacceptable behaviour'

Celebrity Big Brother star Mickey Rourke looked unrecognisable in pictures taken outside his Los Angeles home, months after he was kicked off the reality programme for his behaviour.

Bafta-winning actor Rourke, known for his roles in The Wrestler and Sin City, was kicked out of the BB house after further "use of inappropriate language" and "instances of unacceptable behaviour", including using "sexual language" in conversation with reality TV star Ella Rae Wise.

Since his departure from the show, Mickey was rarely seen out and about upon returning to Los Angeles. However, he was recently spotted briefly popping his head out of his house to pick up food that was delivered to him.

While he was known for his long brown hair in the show, he was seen rocking a cropped style with his natural grey hair. The star also wore green sweatpants, a black zip hoodie with no shirt on underneath and a silver chain with a heart pendant.

He briefly looked around as he picked up the white bag of food and a silver package. Mickey resides in Beverly Hills in a home with an overgrown garden with dead vines and a run-down front door.

When Mickey was kicked out of the show over his actions months ago, an ITV spokesperson released a statement on their decision and said: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."

Mickey later issued an apology, stating: "I stepped over the line and I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. 'Cause I lost my temper, and I've been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I'm very sorry."

He added: "I'm ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt, or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset, but you know, I'm sorry about that."

More than 1,000 complaints were made about Celebrity Big Brother following Mickey being reprimanded for making homophobic remarks to reality star JoJo Siwa.

The actor, known for the movies Iron Man 2, 9 1/2 Weeks and Sin City, admitted before he left the house that he tried his "hardest to get out of here", and said he had a "short fuse".

Celebrity Big Brother went on to be won by soap star Jack P Shepherd, with Danny Beard coming in second.

Meanwhile, fellow CBB stars JoJo and Chris Hughes went on to date in the real world after forming a close relationship in the house.
