Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale will see a number of new faces to the franchise
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale marks the last hurrah for the franchise, at least for now, as creator Julian Fellowes hinted this could be the final bow for the current cast, reports the Express.
The film, showcasing stunning filming locations, premieres today (September 12) and follows Lady Mary (portrayed by Michelle Dockery) dealing with life post-divorce from Henry Talbot (Matthew Goode) and her struggle to find her place in society.
Furthermore, she becomes the new owner of Downton Abbey after her father Lord Robert Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) passes on the estate to her.
