K-Pop Demon Hunters streamed for over 61 million hours but viewers have big complaint

The film quickly took the number one spot on the Netflix chart when it was released earlier this year.

New Netflix film K-Pop Demon Hunters follows superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey who form girlband Huntr/x and lead double lives as demon hunters.

The trio's ultimate goal is to protect their fans from the ever-present supernatural threat of demons who feed on the souls of humans.

By performing their hit singles they create a magical barrier called the Honmoon which keeps the demons at bay.

The trio are just about to take a break and relax by spending some time on the couch - which fans have now spotted a reference to when they search the film on Google - when they must face their biggest enemy yet.

Rival group Saja Boys arrive as demons in disguise and cracks quickly start to appear in Huntr/x's friendship while Rumi starts to lose her voice.

To make matters worse, Huntr/x fans start to pay attention to Saja Boys, which creates cracks in the Honmoon. The trio must do everything they can to stop Saja Boys and their ruler Gwi-Ma from taking over the world.

K-Pop Demon Hunters has now been watched for over 61 million hours worldwide and continues to be popular with viewers of all ages.

However, some Netflix viewers have complained about one element of the film.

Taking to social media, those who have watched the film complained they have the songs stuck in their head for days.

One wrote: "Literally my only problem with the film. The songs are FIRE yet so catchy....too catchy."

Another replied: "Yeah, I am actually having the very same with my partner, both of us are in constant "We're going Up-Up-Up This is our moment" or "You're my soda pop..." and it's endless. Actually she's singing it right now in the other room. How to make it stop?!"

"I figured I’d have a couple favorites and skip the rest, but somehow every single track has wormed its way into my brain over the past 3 or 4 weeks," someone else shared.

Another added: "Okay, so I watched it and I do think it’s a good movie. The animation and character design is great and the plot makes sense. This is only my opinion but I do think that most of the songs are kind of annoying."

And someone else continued: "The animation annoyed me, the plot was decent to good, but the music was annoyingly catchy, I didn’t enjoy this movie much, a 3/10."

K-Pop Demon Hunters is available to stream on Netflix now.
