Netflix has just added a 'miracle romcom ' that 'definitely lives up to the hype'.
Anyone But You is now part of the streaming giant's extensive library. Initially released in cinemas back in 2023, it stars two of the hottest and rising stars in Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney.
Powell is set to feature in Edgar Wright's The Running Man remake later this year. Meanwhile, Euphoria star Sweeney will appear in thriller The Housemaid and biopic Christy.
Described as an edgy comedy, according to the synopsis, the story follows a couple who, despite having an amazing first date, their initial attraction quickly turns sour. When Bea and Ben unexpectedly find themselves at a destination wedding in Australia, the pair pretend to be the perfect couple to keep up appearances.
The plot is based on William Shakespeare's classic play Much Ado About Nothing. The main character's names are shortened versions of the original where Bea and Ben replace Beatrice and Benedick. Meanwhile, the villainous Don John becomes Bea's ex-fiancé John.
While the film was not the biggest hit with critics upon its release, only managing a 53% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, that wasn't the case with fans. Anyone But You's popcornmeter fan score sits at a more impressive 87%.

This lets members watch live and on-demand TV content without a satellite dish or aerial and includes hit shows like Stranger Things and The Last of Us.
One fan appreciated the modern retelling of a classic story. They posted: A delightful reimagining of Much Ado About Nothing, two people form an instant connection, and then due to misunderstanding they now despise each other. So, of course, they are forced into a situation where they must get along."
While another predicted it will remembered even more fondly as time goes on. They commented: "This film is going to be an absolute classic talked about for years and years to come, loved this film from the fantastic opening scene, this film is top notch, hilarious and cleverly written."
Someone else claimed the film is one of the best in its genre, saying: "Outstanding, romcoms have been done to death but every now and then, one comes along where everything falls into Place that makes it a pretty memorable one, a 'miracle romcom' and this is one of them."
They continued: "It was one of the most highly touted films last year, great to finally see it come out on Netflix and it definitely lives up to the hype about it. The best thing about it for me was the humour."
