Netflix's The Wrong Paris cast in full from iCarly icon to unrecognisable child star

The new romcom is coming to Netflix this week

Romcom fans are in for a treat with Netflix's The Wrong Paris, and its cast is full of familiar faces.

The romance, which will land on the streamer this Friday (September 12), follows Dawn, a young woman who dreams of attending an art school in Paris, France.

Although she is accepted into the school, Dawn can barely afford to travel to the city of love or make ends meet once she arrives.

But she soon stumbles upon a The Bachelor-style dating show called The Honey Pot, which seems to be set in France.

However, after being cast on the show, Dawn learns that the series is actually set in Paris, Texas.

While there, she discovers the show's bachelor is a familiar face, Trey McAllen. The pair later sparks a connection, which threatens to spoil Dawn's plans to move to Europe and chase her dreams.

Romance fans are already counting down the days until the new film, but who are the stars bringing this story to life?

Miranda Cosgrove as Dawn

iCarly icon Miranda Cosgrove is a TV veteran, but this will mark her first role as a leading lady in a rom-com.

However, fans can rest assured that he actress is no stranger to the genre since she recently featured in Netflix's romantic drama Mother of the Bride.

Since rising to global fame on Nickelodeon, Cosgrove has voiced Margo in all four Despicable Me films. The 32-year-old also reprised her beloved role as Carly Shay in the 2021 revival of iCarly.

Pierson Fodé as Trey

Cosgrove isn't the only iCarly alum on this cast; Pierson Fodé, who plays her on-screen love interest, Trey, made his acting debut on the Nickelodeon show.

The 33-year-old played supporting character Todd in a season five episode titled iHalfoween.

Just three years later, Fodé landed one of his most recognised parts in the American soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, in which he portrayed Thomas Forrester.

In addition to The Wrong Paris, he is set to appear in Hulu's forthcoming biopic, Swiped, alongside the likes of Lily James and Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens.

Yvonne Orji as Rachel

Yvonne Orji is best known for playing Molly Carter in HBO's Emmy-winning drama Insecure.

Here, Orji plays Rachel, who appears to be the host of the reality show that Dawn joins.

Interestingly, Orji is also the host of Netflix's real-life dating show Pop the Balloon Live, which was birthed by a viral YouTube series.

Madison Pettis as Lexi

Yet another former child star, Madison Pettis, plays dating show contestant Lexi. The 27-year-old is almost unrecognisable from her career-making role opposite in The Game Plan.

The 2007 film features Pettis as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's eight-year-old daughter, Peyton Kelly.

She later starred in Disney Channel's Cory's in the House and Netflix's He's All That. Phineas and Ferb viewers might also be familiar with Pettis as the voice actor behind Adyson Sweetwater.

Torrance Coombs as Carl

Canadian actor Torrance Coombs plays Carl, but his character's details have not been revealed yet.
