Christmas 2025 delivery slots for Asda, M&S, Morrisons and Sainsbury's have launched
Christmas 2025 is just around the corner, and many supermarkets have already opened their Christmas delivery slots for customers to book in advance
While Halloween is still on the horizon, another festive holiday is fast approaching. Yes, we're just over two months away from Christmas.
This means it's high time to start planning for the big day, particularly when it comes to securing your food haul, especially if you're an online shopper. Luckily, in anticipation of the December frenzy, many supermarkets have been releasing their Christmas delivery slots well ahead of time, with several now officially open for bookings this year.
While scrambling for last-minute presents and decking the halls may seem like the most chaotic parts of the festive season, many food delivery slots fill up quickly, and nobody wants to be left without their main meal.
Whether you're organising a Christmas bash or hosting a massive family feast on December 25, every supermarket's Christmas range has something to offer everyone this year, which is why they'll likely be snapped up quickly.
That's why we've compiled a useful guide on what slots are currently available and whether there are any associated costs. While some are only open to Delivery Pass holders, it's worth noting any upcoming dates that will soon be available to all, reports the Daily Record.
Asda
Asda released its Christmas delivery slots to Delivery Pass holders on Wednesday, October 15, with slots becoming available to all other customers on Tuesday, October 21.
For those keen to avoid the festive rush, a Delivery Pass is currently priced between £6.95 and £7.95 for a monthly pass valid any day of the week, while a midweek pass costs between £3.95 and £4.50, but only allows for deliveries on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
All shoppers need to do is peruse the Christmas Food To Order menu and add their selections to their basket, with the final date for any additions being December 15. From there, delivery slots will be available from December 21-23.
Asda's Christmas Food To Order is now up for grabs.
M&S
M&S, one of the most eagerly awaited retailers for all things Christmassy, has already opened its delivery slots back in September.
All customers need to do is reserve their delivery slot for their preferred store, with dates available from December 21 to 24, then secure their festive feast with a minimum £50 deposit. The remaining balance can be settled when they collect their order.
M&S' Christmas Food To Order is ready to shop now.
Morrisons
Morrisons ' Christmas delivery slots are now open for everyone with a Delivery Pass, with slots now available from December 20-24 with a minimum order value of just £25.
The supermarket offers two passes, an Anytime pass (seven days a week) that costs £8 monthly, £45 every six months or £70 annually. The Midweek pass (Tuesday-Thursday) is priced at £5 per month, £25 every six months or £40 annually.
Morrisons has yet to announce when their Christmas delivery slots will be open for all customers, although their Christmas Food To Order is already available.
Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's launched their delivery slots today, October 16, for all Delivery Pass holders. These slots, available from December 18-24, are open for a week.
The supermarket offers one free delivery every day, with one-hour slots available throughout the day. A Sainsbury's Delivery Pass costs £7.50 per month, £43 every six months, and £80 annually for Anytime.
A Midweek pass is available at £4 per month or £40 per year. All other customers can book their slots from October 23, with changes allowed up until 11pm the night before the chosen delivery.
Sainsbury's Christmas Food To Order is also available now.
Waitrose
Waitrose, like M&S, has opened its Christmas delivery slots for all customers, without the need for a Delivery Pass. A minimum spend of £40 is required, with options for a one-hour delivery slot or collection date between December 20-24.
The final date for bookings is December 15. While the supermarket typically provides slots throughout the day, they can be taken quickly, so it's worth checking what remains.
