Aldi launches Bluey toy sale in middle aisle with items from £7 this week

People looking to snap up Christmas presents early will be interested in what is on offer this week

Aldi shoppers will notice a big change in the supermarket's middle section today (October 16) as Specialbuy refresh day arrives. It's one of many events that parents might already have marked on their calendars.

Following shortly after its Wooden Toy Event, Aldi customers have another chance to get their hands on potential Christmas presents that are sure to excite any young Bluey fan. The latest middle aisle refresh features many Aldi-exclusive items featuring the Australian dog, as well as her friends and family.

Spreading the cost of Christmas is something lots of shoppers are mindful of as the season can quickly add up when buying gifts, food and other ways to celebrate. Some of the Bluey toys on offer at Aldi start from as little as £9.99, and certain Aldi stores might still have some wooden toys from last week that have yet to be claimed, still available on shelves.

In addition to toys, the store is offering a selection of autumnal homeware, including bedding, candles, and decorative centrepieces. There will also be a selection of rugs and throws.

It can be somewhat overwhelming to browse what's in stock during your weekly shop, and you might end up missing something. So, look ahead of time at what to expect with this roundup of new items coming into stores.

Shoppers will notice quite early on that Bluey takes up a massive section of the middle aisle. The Aldi website only lists seven types of toys on offer—which are shown below—but there's quite a lot more to choose from.

In a video posted by Aldi worker Dylan, he showed Specialbuy shoppers that the viral Bluey soft chair (£24.99) was back in stock. And, looking just as soft and cosy was the Bluey Lounge Pets, which fold out into comfortable pillows shaped like the popular characters from the show (£14.99). Shoppers could also pick up an assortment of Bluey Lights from £6.99, perfect for any Bluey fan's bedroom.

If parents were set on wooden toys, there was a Bluey Baking Set and a Breakfast Set (£14.99). There is also a selection of Bluey-branded games on offer (£12.99 each) and a showstopping Ride-On Electric Car (£59.99, available in blue or red).

Aldi confirmed in its latest SpecialBuy leaflet that more toy events would be coming to the middle aisles soon, including Disney and 'big brand' toys, followed by the November Toy Event on November 13. The leaflet is linked above for anyone planning to shop during these events.

For those not interested in toys, Aldi has also put out a selection of cosy homeware, perfect for autumn. There's a stylish rechargeable table lamp that looks very similar to something that could be sold in Dunelm (£12.99) and seasonal centrepieces in a variety of styles (£7.99)

To keep homes smelling fresh this season, Aldi has lots of candles and reed diffusers on offer from £3.49. In the bedroom, shoppers can transform their sleep space into something truly cosy with Teddy Bedding Sets (from £14.99, available in four colours) and thicker duvets (£19.99).
