When it comes to house chores, there are many gadgets that can help. Currently, there's a discounted product on Amazon that can 'turn an indoor airer into an electric clothes dryer in minutes' - and it's ideal given the weather forecast ahead.
The Minky SureDri Heat Pod Clothes Drying System is currently available from Amazon for £79.99, down from £90, saving shoppers 11%. This discounted product is particularly handy at the moment with the unpredictable weather, as the Met Office has forecast unsettled weather this week.
Today, October 21, the UK is set for a day of showers and some mist and fog patches this evening. To use the product, shoppers should attach the frame to their existing three-tiered airer, feed the hose through and switch on the heat pod.

The fitted cover provides extra insulation to dry clothes effectively. The brand claims this product helps to save energy with its low running costs, with it 'costing just pennies to run'. It also claims to provide four times faster drying than a traditional clothes drying rack.
Measuring 33 x 28 x 17cm, the heat pod unit is small and compact, making it easy to store, and it uses a fan-powered, gentle warm air flow to ensure safe and efficient drying. Amazon said shoppers won't have to worry about damage or shrinkage.

For this product, Amazon says shoppers will get a frame to fit any standard three-tiered airer, the Minky SureDri Heat Pod Unit, a telescopic hose and end cap, and a cover. But an airer is not included.
An alternative is Lakeland's Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Airer and Cover Bundle, available at a higher price of £204.98, reduced from £244.98. The running costs for this are 9p per hour, the brand says, and it can hold 15kg of wet washing on 21m of drying space.
At Argos, there's this JML DriBUDDI Compact Heated Airer, priced at £79. The brand describes this product as a 'compact, portable, freestanding heated clothes airer', which has a drying capacity of 10kg and is ideal for flat drying.
Shoppers have left positive reviews for the Minky SureDri Heat Pod Clothes Drying System on Amazon, leaving an average 4.1 out of five-star rating. One said: "Easy to set up.
"Effective drying and easy to store, I am impressed. I was a previous tumble dryer user, but I moved and had no space for it. I won’t go back after using this!"
Someone else wrote: "This has been a game-changer. It's so good. My washing no longer smells funny when it's been dried indoors. It's cheap to run. Works best when you move clothes around on the airer part way through drying."
