'The whole family love' Traitors board game that comes with 'really interesting twist'
'It is a great fun family game and really great if you like being a detective or a bit mischievous'
As the nights draw in and more evenings are spent indoors with family and friends, a classic board game is the perfect way to bring everyone together - unless, of course, it’s The Traitors official board game. Based on the hit BBC show, the game brings a touch of betrayal and treachery to the table, and it’s now only £20 at Argos.
Designed for four to six players, the game involves completing missions and tasks to earn gold. However, one player is elected the Traitor, performing secret assignments in return for the right to ‘murder’ a fellow player during the Night phase of the game.
To prevail, the Faithful must employ their best detective skills and oust the Traitor at the Round Table, who will win the prize fund if they successfully elude detection. Along the way, players can pick up Shield cards to protect themselves from being murdered, and Dagger cards for blackmailing their opponents.

For something with a little less backstabbing, shoppers might want to try Herd Mentality, available from Amazon for £21.99. The aim is to answer questions in line with the majority of players, and it can be enjoyed by up to 20 people in as little as 20 minutes.
Those who’d rather swap their cloak and dagger for a pencil could consider Six Second Scribbles, a hectic drawing game where players have just 60 seconds to depict 10 items on their card. The game is available for £14.99 from Waterstones.

The game is inspired by the hit television show, The Traitors, and available for four to six players at a time.
Many shoppers have thoroughly enjoyed their purchase of The Traitors board game, with one reviewer stating: "Bought as a gift and the whole family loved it." Another said: "Bought this after seeing the TV series. The game works really well. However, be prepared to get up and about, as well as finding objects in your house... that's all I'm going to say! Great fun and a really interesting twist at the end of the game."
One shopper emphasised the family appeal of the game: “Bought this for my boyfriend's family as an early Christmas gift. It was so much fun to play, we had a blast! It was hard to grasp at first but we got the hang of it. Some of the challenges were so simple and silly, but we ended up laughing so hard. Highly recommend.”
For some buyers, however, the game’s rules were too complicated, with one noting as part of a longer review: "Incredibly complex, not a table game either as it involves running around the house collecting things.” Another had similar issues, commenting as part of a longer review: “The rules are too complicated, after one hour of attempting we put it back in the box.”
The Traitors Official Board Game is available from Argos for £20.
