People terrified over scary Halloween decoration that has 'taken things too far'
A Halloween lover has sparked a debate after installing a decoration scary enough it could give adults nightmares - with many saying some people take things too far
People are too scared to walk down the street after Halloween lovers installed a decoration so creepy it has been giving adults nightmares. The Halloween decoration shows the torso of a man hanging from his arms with his internal organs hanging out as he screams in pain.
The animatronic man is hung up between two trees just metres from a walkway in an otherwise quiet American neighbourhood - and has sparked quite the debate on social media. One user said: "Scariest Halloween decoration I've seen on here." In response, another user added: "That would be a hell no for me if I walked past that as a child."
Adding to this, one more said: "That's a hell no from me if I walked by that as a full grown adult"
Taking it one step further, another said: "That would be a “hell no” for me if I was a neighbour. I'd be cutting that s*** down in the middle of the night."
Meanwhile, another user added: "I would cut it down in broad daylight, I ain’t getting close to that thing in the dark…"
One more user said: "I can imagine young kids having nightmares for a long time after seeing this."
Believing the homeowner has taken things too far with the decoration, another user complained: "Seriously. Basic Halloween decorations are often more than enough to scare little kids.

"When he was three or four, my son was traumatised for months by a house that had one of those decorations that was a skeleton that looked like a skeleton coming out of the ground. This was nowhere near as scary as what this person posted.
"A year later, he still remembered what house it was and didn't want to go there, even though the skeleton wasn't there.
"A bloody, cut in half, screaming, thrashing zombie is definitely not front yard appropriate. It's not just spooky, it's gory."
In agreement, another user claims Halloween is meant to be an evening of harmless fun - not an opportunity to terrify young children.
They said: "I don’t care if you’re an adult and you obviously don’t give a s*** about it. That’s not the point. S*** people do stuff like this.
"Save it for a haunted forest where everyone there has signed up for this so we can spare four-year-old Jimmy in his Thomas the Tank Engine outfit."
Speaking from their own experience, a final user said: "Yeah same. I feel like it’d be better if people kept the gory mangled corpse Halloween décor indoors.
"Beyond all the little kids getting nightmares from this (and their tired parents who have to comfort them), there are people with PTSD who’ve seen some real shit and don’t need to be constantly reminded of it for the entire month of October.
"After my father-in-law died a violent death, my husband had a really hard time seeing gory Halloween decorations."
