Is Man City vs Everton on TV? Kick-off time, live stream info and team news

Manchester City host Everton in the Premier League on Saturday and Pep Guardiola's men are looking to move level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table

Manchester City are eyeing top spot in the Premier League as they prepare to host Everton on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's side currently sit fifth in the table and could temporarily move level with Arsenal at the summit if they manage to bag a win against the Toffees.

City have been on a roll of late and are unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions since their back-to-back defeats to Tottenham and Brighton in August. This impressive run includes a draw against current leaders Arsenal and a 1-0 victory over Brentford before the international break.

Everton, just two points behind and eighth in the league, will be heading to the Etihad after halting Crystal Palace's unbeaten streak a fortnight ago. David Moyes' squad managed a 1-1 draw at the Etihad last season, and the Scot would be chuffed with a similar outcome this weekend.

Erling Haaland, who returned to England early from his international duties, is keen to extend his lead as the Premier League's top scorer with nine goals under his belt. Mirror Football provides a preview of Saturday's clash along with essential broadcasting details ahead of kick-off.

When does Man City vs Everton kick off?

The Etihad Stadium will welcome Everton for a face-off on Saturday, October 18, with the match set to kick off at 3pm. It's one of five Premier League fixtures kicking off at that time.

Is Man City vs Everton on TV?

Regrettably for those in the UK, Saturday's showdown at the Etihad won't be broadcast live by any of the major networks. This is due to the 3pm blackout rule that top-tier clubs must follow, meaning kick-offs at this time aren't shown on British TV.

However, this doesn't apply abroad, as the blackout regulation only pertains to broadcasting laws in the UK. For instance, viewers in the United States can still tune into the action live via Peacock.

Instead, fans based in the UK will have to hold out for the highlights, typically shared on social media and YouTube by Sky Sports shortly after the final whistle. Match of the Day will also air on BBC One from 10:30pm on Saturday evening, and it can also be streamed via iPlayer.

What's the latest Man City vs Everton team news?

City went into another international break knowing they'd be facing their next stretch with Rodri sidelined through injury. The Spanish linchpin was withdrawn during the victory over Brentford earlier this month and is once again unavailable due to a hamstring issue.

Forward Omar Marmoush and left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri are "close to coming back." But defender Abdukodir Khusanov remains out after missing City's last four matches due to a calf injury.

Meanwhile, Everton's on-loan star Jack Grealish is ineligible to play against his parent club and could be replaced by Dwight McNeil. Moyes is keeping his fingers crossed key defender Jarrad Branthwaite will be fit enough to make his season debut, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is available after serving his suspension.
