Virgin Media dishes out free TV channels for a limited time - act now or miss out
There's a nice boost from Virgin with the firm offering 14 premium telly channels for free.
Just in time for the summer break, Virgin Media has confirmed that it's offering customers a swathe of telly channels without paying anything for the privilege. The boost is available from today, but those wanting to watch only have a limited time to tune in with the freebie ending on August 17.
So what's included in the upgrade?
Virgin says it is dishing out access to 14 premium South Asian channels including Sony MAX HD, Zee TV HD and Utsav Gold HD.
With this offer now live, Virgin users can tune into shows, entertainment and movies including global blockbusters such as Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 - the highest-grossing film in India in 2024.
There's also cricket action from the World Championship of Legends and entertainment channels covering an array of genres, including drama, comedy and lifestyle, and showcasing popular TV series such as Anupama.
The TV channels included are part of Virgin Media’s Asian Mela bundle, which normally costs £12 per month
Explaining more about the freebie, David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: "We want to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month the best way we know how – by giving Virgin TV customers access to world-leading South Asian entertainment to enjoy at no extra cost.
"It’s an incredibly important time for families and friends to come together and celebrate the living legacy of South Asian Heritage, we hope there’s something for everything to enjoy across the 14 premium Asian Mela channels."
