Caroline Flack documentary release date confirmed as 'shocking' details to be exposed

Disney+ has confirmed the release date for the highly-anticipated Caroline Flack documentary, which will see the late Love Island host's mother, Christine Flack, search for the truth

Disney+ has revealed the release date for its eagerly awaited Caroline Flack documentary, which is set to be packed with "shocking" disclosures.

The two-part series, Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth, is led by the late Love Island host's mother, Christine Flack, as she seeks to uncover the events that transpired in her daughter's final months.

At the height of her career, television presenter Caroline hosted The X Factor alongside singer Olly Murs and triumphed in the BBC dance competition Strictly Come Dancing in 2014. However, following her arrest in 2019, she found herself in the eye of a media storm that ended tragically.

The star took her own life in 2020 at the age of 40 while awaiting trial for the alleged assault of her boyfriend. A coroner determined that her mental health had worsened following her arrest, with an inquest hearing that the presenter had been "hounded" by sections of the media.

In the forthcoming documentary, her mother Christine will revisit the events that occurred prior to Caroline's death. The documentary will provide access to the TV star's "inner circle" and reveal failings behind the scenes, reports OK!

A synopsis states: "After her arrest in 2019, she became the target of a relentless media storm. Vilified in the press and online, her world spiralled – ending in tragedy when she took her own life.

"This powerful two-part Disney+ documentary follows Caroline's mother, Christine, as she investigates the truth about her daughter's final months – uncovering new shocking details, asking difficult questions, and exposing the misrepresentations, pressures, and failures from institutions and decision makers that shaped Caroline's final days.

"With access to powerful testimony from Caroline's inner circle and those who were there, the series tells the story she never got to share and reveals an unprecedented look at what really happened to Caroline Flack."

Both instalments of the documentary will be available from 10 November, exclusively on Disney+.

In the UK and Ireland, Samaritans can be contacted on freephone 116 123
