Chad Powers stuns fans as 'Hawk Tuah Girl' Hailey Welch appears minutes into debut
Chad Powers has made its grand debut on Disney+ with the first two episodes of the Glen Powell sports comedy now ready to watch.

Chad Powers has begun on Disney+ and it didn’t take too long before a memorable TikTok star made a cameo appearance.
Glen Powell is back in the world of comedy after starring in the action thriller Twisters in 2024, but he has taken on a very different look for Disney+’s Chad Powers.
After quarterback Russ Holliday (played by Glen Powell) loses his career, eight years later, he uses facial prosthetics to try out for another football team in the hope of getting his life back.
But before he comes to this dramatic decision, Russ is seen in the first five minutes of the sitcom going to a night club with his manager.
It is here that he bumps into none other than TikTok star Hailey Welch, better known to many as the Hawk Tuah Girl.
She quickly became a viral meme thanks to a 2024 TikTok video where she used the phrase “hawk tuah” when describing how she makes a man “go crazy in bed”.
This short video launched her to international fame, leading to Welch to start up her own popular podcast Talk Tuah.
In Chad Powers, when Russ walks into the club, he spots Welch and cries out “The f*****g Hawk Tuah Girl is here!”, before replicating what she did in the video.
She then seriously replies: “My name’s Hailey d******d.”
Chad then proceeds to call her Hailey Tuah with her stating: “Hailey Welch, Hailey Welch is my full human name.”
Unfortunately, he is once again dropped by a semi-professional football team as well as his manager who leaves him at the club.
The rest of their entourage follows but not before Hailey tells Chad: “Please don’t tell people we met” and walks off.
Speaking to People about the experience, the 21-year-old social media star shared: “I’m a huge fan of his [Powell].
“I'm not even gonna lie to you. I was scared to talk to him, but him, his whole team, they were all great. They were really sweet.”
