Heartstopper fans say they're 'feeling everything' as they react to season three trailer

Heartstopper fans have been setting social media alight with reactions since Netflix released the trailer for season three on Tuesday.

Netflix released the highly-anticipated trailer for season three of Heartstopper on Tuesday (September 17) and fans have been going into overdrive with their reactions on social media.

The trailer opens with Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) listening to music on a beach before Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) comes over and gently pokes him in the face.

A voiceover that is a mash-up of many of the show's characters begins: "Sixteen is when nothing makes sense anymore. Starting sixth form and thinking about uni options, and it's all just... a lot."

During the nearly three-minute trailer, darker storylines are teased, with Charlie's mental health being at the forefront along with a storyline around gender dysphoria.

Since the trailer was released, beloved fans have been flocking to social media to share their reactions and it looks like they're feeling all kinds of emotions.
