Kate Garraway reveals Celebrity Traitors was forced to halt filming after awkward moment

Kate Garraway was back on Good Morning Britain this morning, as the team debriefed on last night's Celebrity Traitors, which saw a shock triple elimination

Kate Garraway revealed Celebrity Traitors was forced to halt filming half way through after an extremely awkward moment that fans saw on TV last night.

Last night, fans sat down for the third episode of the season, which started off with YouTuber Niko Omilana being the first Faithful to be banished from the castle after an intense roundtable. Kate survived by the skin of her teeth, although viewers will know she also is Faithful.

Later on the Traitors, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns decided to murder Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley, afraid he was going to piece all the clues together.

However, that wasn't all, as another Faithful, EastEnders star Tameka Empson was banished from the castle at the end of the game.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom, as the celebrities, and viewers were left in fits of laughter when Celia Imrie accidentally passed wind while host Claudia Winkleman was explaining the challenge.

During the tense scene, the Strictly Come Dancing host stood infront of the famous faces as she introduced the "worst team building away day in history."

However, the broadcaster was at a loss for words as she asked: "What just happened?" after Celia made a rather unusual noise.

"I just farted, Claudia," said Celia, before adding: "I'm so sorry – I'm so sorry, it's nerves, but I always own up." Claudia responded: "I know, I always own up too," as the celebs were left in fits of laughter.

However, Kate revealed the celebs were laughing so hard that they had to pause filming. "It was so loud!" Kate laughed. "It was my favourite moment!"

Asking about the moment, Melvin Odoom said: "And you had to stop filming as well right?"

"Yes because we were all laughing so much and for so long, including her! She's adorable, we salute you," Kate replied.

Elsewhere Kate revealed that her children were 'furious' that she was safe from the banishment – as they're huge fans of Niko.

"They're obsessed with Niko!" Kate explained, as she revealed that her children warned her not to vote for him before she entered the show.

"To be fair, I didn't vote for him. I thought he was Faitful, he was a Faithful. I don't have blood on my hands but I do over Tameka, I voted for her and she was innocent!"
