Taylor Sheridan show dubbed 'even better than Yellowstone' drops thrilling season 2 teaser
The second season of Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan’s latest hit drama is just around the corner
A gripping teaser for the second season of Landman has just arrived, promising more intense drama with oil man Tommy Norris (played by Billy Bob Thornton).
One of the biggest hits of last year, the Paramount+ series set amongst the oilfields of West Texas was watched by 35 million viewers when it premiered in November 2024, a new record for the streaming platform.
Based on the podcast Boomtown and created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, countless fans are eagerly awaiting the second season.
Thankfully, it’s arriving sooner than you think with new episodes of Landman starting from Sunday, 16th November.
This time, Oscar nominee Demi Moore is taking centre stage as Cami Miller following Jon Hamm’s departure from the series as her husband, M-Tex owner Monty Miller.
Also returning for the second season are Ali Larter as Angela Norris, Tommy’s ex-wife, Jacob Lofland as their son Cooper and Michelle Randolph as their daughter Ainsley.
Joining the next outing is fellow Oscar nominee Sam Elliott, whose character is currently only known as TL, though Tommy refers to him as “pop” in the new trailer.
Elliott previously portrayed Pinkerton agent Shea Brennan in Sheridan’s hit Yellowstone prequel 1883.
Grey’s Anatomy star Stefania Spampinato has also been added to the cast as a recurring star.
While the series is still several weeks away, the hype amongst fans is palpable as many of them claim the first season was even better than Sheridan’s other hit drama, Yellowstone.
One YouTube user commented under the trailer: “Hands down one of the best shows in recent years. Billy Bob Thornton killing it. Brutal yet humorous. Love it.”
“Oh snap this seasons looks even better!!! I’m hyped!!!” another exclaimed.
Paramount+ is offering 50% off its Standard and Premium subscriptions until July 10.
A third wrote: “This show is incredible…Taylor Sheridan is brilliant….I thought Yellowstone was great…but Landman is next level.”
Another viewer raved in their five-star Google review: “Move over Yellowstone...Landman is taking over!! Love it! I think the characters are great and it's totally entertaining.”
