‘One of the best series in years’ teases season 2 in new trailer and it looks ‘even better’
The full-length trailer for the second season of a hit drama has been released and fans are already calling for it to be released early
The much-anticipated full-length trailer for the second series of Landman has finally dropped, and fans are buzzing with excitement.
Created by Yellowstone's Taylor Sheridan and boasting a star-studded Hollywood cast, the show quickly became a smash hit for Paramount+ when it first aired in November 2024.
Luckily for viewers, they've not had to wait long for more, as less than a year after the season one finale in January, the second series is already set to make a big splash before 2025 is out.
The newly unveiled trailer for the upcoming season hints at even more turmoil for oil expert Tommy Norris (played by Billy Bob Thornton), following the devastating death of his boss Monty Miller (Jon Hamm) in the first series.
As the drama unfolds, Tommy finds himself on the brink as Monty's widow, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), ramps up the tension, reports the Express.
This time, the company is sitting pretty after striking oil, but the discovery couldn't have come at a worse time for Tommy and his resolute boss.
While the Landman does his best to hold things together at M-Tex Oil, he's also battling to keep his dysfunctional family in check, including his tumultuous ex-wife Angela (Ali Larter) and strong-willed daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph).
Adding to the mix, the reappearance of Tommy's father, played by Hollywood legend Sam Elliott, is set to stir things up even more.
Fans have already circled Sunday, 16th November, in their diaries as the premiere date for Landman's eagerly awaited second series draws nearer.
One viewer has called it "One of the best series in recent years" in the comments once the trailer had been released on YouTube.
Someone else replied: "My favorite show. I hope this continues for years and years to come. Can't wait for season 2.
"I'm rewatching season 1. I'm on episode 9 and will watch again at the beginning of Nov leading into season 2."
And a third said: "This show's had me gripped since the first 30 seconds. Comparable to TWD imo.
