The next season of Taylor Sheridan’s gripping crime drama Mayor of Kingstown is just a few days away
Mayor of Kingstown is another smash-hit Paramount+ crime drama from Yellowstone’s mastermind producer Taylor Sheridan.
Led by Avengers star Jeremy Renner, the series revolves around Mike McLusky, the unofficial ‘mayor’ of a town in Michigan whose economy primarily revolves around the local prison system.
After his brother is tragically killed, Mike steps up as the mediator between inmates, gangs and cops as he tries to keep peace on the streets.
Premiering back in 2021, three seasons of the hit drama have aired so far and its fanbase has grown year on year.

Who is in the cast of Mayor of Kingstown season 4?
The fourth season of Mayor of Kingstown will undergo a dramatic shake-up as several major players are joining the cast to cause trouble for Mike.
Several key characters will also not be returning for the show’s new era, including Emma Laird’s escort Iris, Aidan Gillen’s incarcerated Russian mobster Milo Sunter and Michael Beach as Warden Kareem Moore.
Thankfully, much of the main cast will be returning for more action. They include:

Season four will also include some incredible new stars bringing more drama into Mike’s life.
This includes The Sopranos icon Edie Falco as Anchor Bay prison’s new warden Nina Hobbs.
Plus, legendary British actor Lennie James, best known in the States for his appearances in The Walking Dead franchise, is portraying Detroit mobster Frank Moses, who enters the fray to fill the power vacuum left by the Russians.
Broadway legend Laura Benanti is another new addition this season, portraying Cindy Stephens, a new resident of Kingstown who’s a single mother and correctional officer.
Finally, joining the ensemble as recurring characters are Clayton Cardenas as Deputy Warden Torres and Niko Nicotera in an undisclosed role.
What is Mayor of Kingstown season 4 about?
The next season of Mayor of Kingstown will see a huge shift for Mike and his unpredictable company town.
As demonstrated by the introduction of several new cast members, Kingstown is entering a brand new chapter following the Russians losing their grip on power.
However, even more formidable threats are waiting in the wing as a Detroit gangster moves into their territory while Mike also contends with a fierce new Warden with her own agenda.
A synopsis for the season reads: “In season four, Mike’s control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians’ wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town.
“Meanwhile, with those he loves in more danger than ever before, Mike must contend with a headstrong new Warden to protect his own while grappling with demons from his past.”

When will Mayor of Kingstown season 4 be released?
Fans of Mayor of Kingstown thankfully don’t have much longer to wait as the season four premiere is in just a few days’ time.
The first episode of the highly anticipated next instalment will drop on Paramount+ this Sunday, 26th October.
Just the first episode will be released, with the season continuing each Sunday for another 10 episodes.
