The Night Agent season 2 cast in full as Gossip Girl and Pitch Perfect stars join series
The Night Agent season 2 airs on January 23 and it introduces some new key players.
The Night Agent season two is just around the corner and the hit Netflix spy series sees the return of Gabriel Basso as agent Peter Sutherland. At the end of the first series he said goodbye to Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) to take on a new mission.
However, it is confirmed Rose will once again star in the high-octane series, along with Kari Matchett as President Michelle Travers, who spoke highly of Peter's bravery. There are plenty of new faces joining the series as Peter is seen at a brand-new destination, taking on a dangerous mission.
The Night Agent became Netflix's third-most watched show of all time after its initial release and it was intended to be a limited series. Yet due to its popularity, a whole new story was created.
Not long after the show's premiere, Netflix announced plans to renew the series for two more seasons. Here is all you need to know about the new cast of season two.
Alice - Brittany Snow
Alice is Peter's new partner and mentor in Night Action and she is played by Brittany Snow.
She is a 38-year-old American actress and singer best known for her appearances in Guiding Light, John Tucker Must Die and the Pitch Perfect films.
She was in a relationship with Tyler Stanaland but finalised their divorce last year.
Catherine - Amanda Warren
Catherine is Peter's new boss at Night Action and she is played by Amanda Warren.
She is a 42-year-old American actress known for playing Lucy Warburton in The Leftovers.
Viewers may also recognise her from the comedy series Dickinson.
Noor - Arienne Mandi
Noor is an aide working in the Iranian mission to the United Nations and she is played by Arienne Mandi.
She is a 30-year-old American actress known for playing Dani Núñez in The L Word: Generation Q.
She also had roles in Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Agent X and NCIS: Los Angeles.
Jacob Monroe - Louis Herthum
Louis Herthum is a 68-year-old American actor and producer best known for playing Andy Broom on Murder, She Wrote.
He is also known for his role as Peter Abernathy in the HBO television series Westworld.
Markus - Michael Malarkey
Michael Malarkey is a British-American actor and musician known for playing Enzo St. John in the series The Vampire Diaries.
He married English actress Nadine Lewington in 2009 and they have two sons.
The pair once appeared together in an episode of Project Blue Book.
Chelsea Arrington - Fola Evans-Akingbola
Fola Evans-Akingbola, 30, is a British actress known for playing Maddie Bishop in the series Siren.
Her father, Sola Akingbola, is in the band Jamiroquai. She is also the neice of actor Jimmy Akingbola.
The star is engaged to Canadian actor Curtis Lum and they both appeared in the first season of The Night Agent.
Warren - Teddy Sears
Teddy Sears is a 47-year-old American actor, known for his roles in Raising the Bar and American Horror Story.
He is married to actress Milissa Skoro.
Abbas - Navid Negahban
Navid Negahban, 56, is an Iranian-American actor who has taken on roles in Homeland, Legion and the live action remake of Aladdin.
Solomon - Berto Colon
Berto Colon is a 51-year-old Puerto Rican actor who viewers might recognise as Cesar in Orange is the New Black.
He is also known for his role as Lorenzo Tejada in Power Book II: Ghost, and recently starred as Castillo in The Penguin.
Tomas - Rob Heaps
Rob Heaps is a 40-year-old British actor known for his role as Ezra Bloom in the Bravo series Imposters.
He also played Matt French in Dare Me and Nick Laren in Partner Track.
Javad - Keon Alexander
Keon Alexander is a Canadian actor best known for his roles as Marco Inaros in The Expanse and Rami Said in Tyrant.
