What is the Nobody Wants This season 2 trailer song?

Excitement around Nobody Wants This has been building for months and now season two has nearly arrived.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Nobody Wants This.

Nobody Wants This season two’s trailer has been getting fans hyped for the next chapter of Noah and Joanne’s love story.

In September 2024, Netflix subscribers couldn’t help but fall in love with Nobody Wants This, a romcom which saw the unlikely chemistry between a Rabbi and a sex podcaster.

The first 10-episode outing saw the pair try to navigate the idea of a possible romance, while season two is going to explore Noah (played by Adam Brody) and Joanne’s (Kristen Bell) newfound relationship.

What’s to come from this eagerly anticipated second series has been teased in its upbeat official trailer with many eager to know what the song is.

What is the Nobody Wants This season 2 trailer song?

Nobody Wants This season two’s trailer song is called Bite My Tongue by singer-songwriter Cassandra Coleman who is a relative newcomer given that her first album Coming of Age came out in 2023.

Subscribers may recognise the 29-year-old though as she appeared in season 19 of American Idol back in 2021.

The Tennessee native made it into the Top 12 but then was sadly kicked out of the iconic singing competition.

Nevertheless, this didn’t stop Coleman from pursuing her music career and shared the chaotic experience she had in order for her song Bite My Tongue to be used for the Netflix trailer.

Coleman told Bustle: “Finishing up Bite My Tongue felt like trying to tie your shoelaces in a tornado.

“We were in the middle of a tour and found out we had two days to take the song from demo-land to the finish line if we wanted to land this opportunity.

“Timelines aren’t usually my way of deeming a project complete, but we decided to accept the challenge.”

The singer added: “What would it look like if we didn’t have the time to second guess intuition?

“Everyone involved cleared their schedules to make it work, and it was a beautiful team effort. We’re excited to have it out in the world.”

Coleman is following in the footsteps of singer Gracie Abrams whose hit Close To You is the leading song in the trailer for season one of Nobody Wants This.

Francis and the Lights’ See Her Out also went viral after fans couldn’t get enough of that kiss with Noah and Joanne in series one.

Besides from Coleman’s Bite My Tongue, the second season is going to include a number of other memorable tunes along the way including from artists like Selena Gomez, Teddy Swims and FINNEAS.

Nobody Wants This season two premieres on Thursday, October 23, on Netflix.
