Prime Video announces thrilling James Bond series with Succession star

The Prime Video series 007: Road To A Million is back for a second season and it will see eight pairs of ordinary people sent on a global adventure

James Bond enthusiasts have the opportunity to discover their inner 007 as Prime Video prepares to launch the second series of its popular adventure show, whilst fans continue to speculate about who will be the next Bond.

007: Road To A Million returns for a second series and will witness eight pairs of ordinary individuals embarked on a worldwide adventure.

They will tackle epic challenges, pushing their physical, psychological and strategic capabilities to fresh limits. From Bangkok to the Bahamas, each destination is taken directly from a Bond movie.

Succession's Brian Cox returns as The Controller, the overseer, but only one duo will succeed in making it back to London to confront him for the ultimate reward of £1 million, reports the Express.

Prime Video revealed: "Packed with action, humour and the joy of seeing ordinary people experience one of the most famous movie franchises in the world first hand, 007: Road To A Million series two will leave you shaken AND stirred."

007: Road To A Million series 2 will broadcast on Prime Video on August 22.

The programme will witness the participants confronting live scorpions in Thailand, climbing Bangkok's Sinn Sathorn Tower, enduring vertigo-inducing Alpine cable cars, shooting firearms in a historic Hacienda in Mexico and plunging through shark-infested waters in The Bahamas.

Participants include a father and son pair, Dylan, 22 and Dan, 46, and siblings Cat, 26 and Maiya, 23.

Best mates Ricky and Noddy, both 41, are ready for the challenge as well as married pair Shabina, 50 and Sid, 52. Siblings Asaad, 32, and Jamilah, 34, are vying for the prize money alongside married couple Rob, 57, and Alex, 48.

Also in the running are husband and wife team Steven, 53 and Shelley, 51, as well as best mates Sam and Luke, both 34.

The inaugural series of 007: Road To A Million was met with high praise, with one viewer, A Tomarin, sharing on Google Reviews: "First and foremost, the premise is superb.

"Who hasn't wanted to immerse themselves in the world of Bond, and visit the locations that have taken place in the stories. Second the production has allowed for the immersion of these people to seem as cinematic and seamlessly engaged in the world of Bond.

"To me as a filmmaker and actor, this is spine-chillingly fun and put the hairs up on the back of my neck with joy."
