Selling Sunset star shaken as home raided by masked burglars
A Selling Sunset star has opened up on a terrifying ordeal as a brand new series returns
A Selling Sunset star has been left shaken after their home was raided by masked burglars.
A brand new season is on its way, with just two weeks to go until fans will see season 9 return to Netflix screens.
Today, October 15, the streaming giant released an explosive new trailer which promises plenty of drama and chaos as the Oppenheim Group agents make a comeback, alongside some brand new faces.
But for one star, things seemingly go from bad to worse as she admits a terrifying experience. In the trailer, agent Mary Bonnet states her home was burgled, before the trailer cuts to CCTV from their home.
Mary has been a familiar face on the show since 2019 and has been part of every season since.
The shaken star says in the tantalising trailer: "Our home was robbed by three masked men, I don't feel safe."
Co-star Emma added: "You know it just makes you put things into perspective."
Mary lives in Los Angeles with her husband Romain after purchasing their first home together back in 2022. According to reports, their home had been targeted by masked burglars in what appeared to be a series of high profile break ins in Los Angeles.
TMZ reported at the time the thieves stole over $130k worth of items which reportedly included jewellery and handbags. Despite not being home at the time, the burglars were spotted on CCTV footage.
Later in the trailer, there appears to be more drama coming, Emma can be seen sending flowers to Mary, before being called "fake" by Bre before the bunch is thrown into the bin.
There's also hints Mary could be leaving as Jason tells her: "I don’t want you to leave. I will fix it."
However, she replies: "I don’t know if you can fix it."
All 10 episodes of Selling Sunset are set to be released on Netflix on October 29. Fans can expect to see the return of familiar faces including Crishell Stause, Emma Hernan and Nicole Young.
Newcomer Sandra Vergara previously teased some "jaw-dropping" moments that viewers will not see coming as excitement continues to mount.
According to Netflix's Tudum, creator Adam DiVello said after a particularly explosive batch of episodes featuring social media drama, clashes among the cast, as well as a dog funeral, filming for Season 9 picked up right where Season 8 left off.
Adam added: "There was a lot of strife in the office and a lot of hurt feelings, so we pick up and try to get past that as quickly as possible and into new stories."
