Strictly newcomer Julian Caillon dealt crushing blow after facing two dance-offs
Strictly Come Dancing's Julian Caillon and his celebrity partner Balvinder Sopal have survived two dance-offs so far but odds suggest their time could be up this weekend
Julian Caillon looks set for disappointment as his partner Balvinder Sopal is the favourite to leave Strictly Come Dancing newcomer this weekend.
The pair have had some respectable scores from Shirley Ballas and co, getting 28 for their Paso Doble at the weekend, but have found themselves in the bottom two for the last two weeks.
Balvinder and Julian - who joined the pro line-up on the BBC show this year - have so far avoided elimination in dance-offs, triumphing against Ross King and Jowita Przystal and then Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova.
But according to bookmakers Coral, their time could be up this weekend as EastEnders star Balvinder is the 5-4 favourite to get her marching orders. RuPaul's Drag Race UK La Voix is 6-4 to be the next star to go.
“The odds suggest Balvinder Sopal and La Voix will be involved in this weekend’s dance-off on Strictly, with the EastEnders actress the most likely to lose her place on the show,” said Coral’s John Hill.
La Voix had a tough time on last weekend's show, ending up at the bottom of the leaderboard after she and her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec only scored 14 out of a possible 40 marks for their Cha Cha to Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benatar.
She admitted she was surprised herself to make it through to this week, confessing during the results show on Sunday (October 19): "I am absolutely speechless. I did not expect to be sat here with these amazing people... I wouldn't have voted for that."
"That was beyond terrible," she confessed.
Elsewhere in Coral's latest odds, Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey is 6-1 to get the boot at the weekend, with football stars Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink at 10-1 and Karen Carney at 12-1.
George Clarke is currently on odds of 10-11 to win the whole thing and get his hands on the coveted Glitterball trophy, with Lewis Cope at 5-1 Lewis Cope and Vicky Pattison and Alex Kingston at 7-1.
Balvinder's chances of winning Strictly this year are 100-1, with La Voix on 50-1.
