Feast your eyes on the brand new trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson's seventh feature film Inherent Vice.

Based on a Thomas Pynchon novel this psychedelic, drug-fuelled detective romp looks sharp and funny, with serious style and big characters.

Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix takes centre stage with the lead role of private-eye Doc Sportello, and is joined by a star-studded cast including Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson and Reese Witherspoon.

There really is a bit of everything in this film from surfers, hustlers, dopers and rockers to a murderous loan shark and tenor sax player working undercover - all at the tail end of the 60s where paranoia is high and love is free.

Hitting cinemas on 30 January 2015, this is definitely one to watch - especially if Anderson's previous form is anything to go by.
