Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is set to make a grand entrance on Disney+ this week.
The newest Marvel Cinematic Universe series unfolds in an alternate timeline to the MCU, where Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo) - better known as the Green Goblin - takes on the role of mentor to Peter Parker (Hudson Thames), instead of Tony Stark.
Eugene Byrd lends his voice to Parker's classmate Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song voices Parker's best friend Nico Minoru, Zeno Robinson stars as Harry Osborn, and Hugh Dancy appears as Otto Octavius.
Charlie Cox returns to his role as Matt Murdock and Daredevil in another MCU series, with plans for the actor to headline his own revival series, Daredevil: Born Again.
The Mirror US reports the animation style of the show draws inspiration from the classic Spider-Man comics, and its trailer even tips its hat to the original Spider-Man theme from 1967.
The series also showcases Peter Parker donning a variety of new special suits and introduces new characters distinct from the main MCU. New episodes will be dropped weekly on Disney+, but when exactly are these episodes, including the season finale, set to air?

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man comprises 10 episodes in total, with the first two set to debut on Wednesday, January 29.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will roll out multiple episodes every week. Episodes three to five will drop on Wednesday, February 5, followed by episodes six to eight on February 12, and the final two episodes will be released on February 19.
Disney+'s decision to release episodes in batches is unknown. The streaming giant usually drops new shows weekly, but recently deviated from this pattern by releasing all five episodes of Echo on the same day.
