Fea Result Prod130

The finite element analysis results for load 0.9kN on a S45C material show the stress, displacement, and strain energy graphs converging at the 3rd iteration, making the results reliable. The analysis found yielding in the horizontal part of the model due to buckling effects from the thickness to length ratio being too low to prevent buckling. Heat treatment increased the material's yield strength slightly but did not fully address the buckling issue.

FEA RESULT PROD130, LOAD 0.9kN, S45C STRESS VM, MAX.

DISP, STRAIN ENERGY GRAPH SHOWS BEING CONVERGENT AT 3RD ITERATION, SO THAT THE GRAPHS ARE RELIABLE TO BE USED AS ANALYSIS.

CONCLUSION : AS A LOOK, THE RED REGION (STRESS OVER THE YIELD STRENGTH MATERIAL) DOMINATES HORIZONTAL PART OF AH WHICH RECKONS TO BE DEFORMED UNDER LOAD 0.9 KN NORMAL MATERIAL S45C. IT SUSPECTED THE PROBLEM STEMMING FROM BUCKLING EFFECT DUE TO RATIO THICKNESS OR DIAMETER RODS AGAINST LENGTH CONSIDERED LESS THAN RATIO TO PREVENT BUCKLING, MATERIAL TREATMENT (QT) SEEMS SLIGHTLY HELP TO IMPROVE THE MECHANICAL STRENGTH OF MODEL.
