Enrollment System

(Statement of Work)

1. Purpose

the purpose of enrollment system is to fulfill a better system


that will serve as a more reliable tool in registering and enrolling
students. The study is to show the advantages and disadvantages
that arise in the computerized enrollment system. The study is to
show the innovation of registration and enrollment systems from
traditional to high-end technology. The study also serves the purpose
of revealing the mechanics of the said system. The user interface
provides ease through its organized interface and functionality. The
administrating side provides efficiency in keeping and gathering work.
Enrollment system is a type of system used to make the enrollment
process easier, effortless and lessen the use of time. Like other
systems, it also includes common functions like add, edit and delete.

2. Background
enrolment is the process of recording and verifying the data
of the students upon registration to a particular school. Different
interrelated procedures build up enrolment procedures known as the
enrollment system. It is a great example of a computer generated
process. It can decrease the workload and supply accurate
information needed in the school. As a result, it will not only benefit
the student but also the administration as a whole. This study aims to
come up with an enrollment system for the selected school which
contains information relevant data such as name, year, section,
miscellaneous fees and other fees paid. This system is designed for
the use of the registrars and administrators in enabling them to make
their work easier and more comprehensive. Not only will the system
be effective in making the enrolment system fast but also make the
records safe and more reproducible.

The system will reduce the cost of operation through less
use of resources such as paper, ink, and other office supplies. It also
allows less room for errors in recording and computations due to the
automated nature of the proposed system. It increases file security
with less risk from unauthorized access. Overall, the proposed system
increases the efficiency of the schools enrolment system by
automating the tasks.

A. Problem, opportunity, or directive statement

> it provides an organized way of registering students.


> It avoids mix-up and confusion.
> It saves time and effort and minimizes paper use.
>It provides a secured way of keeping a database of
enrollees, especially if you have a great security and backup
system provided with the enrolment system.

B .History leading to project request


Users or the facilitators of the purpose enrollment system will
also benefited for the reason that they will not do the usual way they
do when they are processing the enrollment forms or records of the
enrollees. Instead of doing the usual way or the manual system of
processing record of the enrollees they can now use a graphical userinterface, all they have to do is to press the mouse and enter data of
an enrollee from the keyboard to manage the propose enrollment
system.

C. Project goal and objectives


the main objective of the enrollment system is to provide a
better and easier way for the enrollees to transact to their records
during enrollment which is being managed by the facilitators of the
enrollment system. The facilitators will now be more comfortable
because their enormous works will be minimized during enrollment
because of fast and easy way of enrollment process. We are
specifically aimed to introduce to the said school the beauty and
functionality on using electronic devices such as computers on
helping them to compile and manage records on enrollment season,
and to propose the computerized system on handling students
records to avoid mishandling, redundancy, and to prevent records on
getting old and damaged by natural calamities like rains, storms and
heat.

> To ease the problem in managing records on enrolling old and new
students.

D .Product description
An enrolment system is necessary for the school to keep track
of their students records. This is a useful way for retrieving students
information. On the other hand a students personal information
account will enable a student to view his or her status and other
school related requirements or details. If these two will be
implemented automatically, then the school will operate more
efficiently and effectively.
