Clearing NC Data

Condition 1: Clearing NC Data in NCU card














>After this steps load the NC backup before that enter password SUNRISE and then load the
NC data backup.



Note: NC data clearing activity is only done during commissioning / replacement of the
card.



Condition 2: Clearing NC Data through HMI Screen






>Select Menu select Soft key
>After selecting Menu select soft key press Start UP soft key.
>Select NC soft key
>Select Start-up Switch
>On right side vertical column select Startup-mode i.e Boot the NC with default values
(NC restart and comes back to normal condition) Standard data will get loaded
>After this steps load the NC backup before that enter password SUNRISE and then load the
NC data backup.

card.













Clearing PLC data:

Condition 1: PLC data in the NCU card



















After this steps load the PLC archive backup kept in the hard disk

Condition 2: Clearing the PLC through SIMATIC Manager

1. Open the SIMATIC Manager Current PLC project













2. After opening the current PLC project.















3. Select PLCDiagnostic/settingClear/Reset















4. After Selecting Clear/Reset. Screen pops up with the message saying that the
all user data (including the hardware configurations) are deleted and all existing
connections to the module are cleared. Select Yes













5. After Selecting YES in the above steps. One more screen pops ups telling that
the Resetting the memory is only permitted in STOP mode and select YES for
carrying out the memory reset.

6. PLC program is completely cleared in the NCU card.




Note: PLC data clearing activity is only done during commissioning / replacement of
the card / Diagnosing.
