: This course provides seminars on the following topics: Integrative Teaching Strategies, Teaching
Multigrade classes, Collaborative Learning, Use of Popular Media in Teaching, Problem-Based
Teaching Distance Learning, K + 12, Understanding by Design, and Environmental Education (e.g.
Climate Change, Risk Reduction Management).

General Objectives of the course
1. To enable the students to gain knowledge, skills and appropriate attitudes on topics and issues
related to teaching strategies, environmental education and other concerns.
2. To provide students with opportunities to conduct seminar-type of classes for them to acquire
skills in facilitating learning, using various teaching strategies, and disaster risk reduction
management.
