Candidates should satisfy themselves that they are eligible to apply before filling up
the application form. The conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed; and
Candidates who are already in service (whether permanent or temporary) should submit
their applications through the Heads of their Department/Organization
(OR) produce No Objection Certificate
A candidate who is found to have knowingly furnished any particulars which are false or to
have suppressed material information, will be disqualified and, if appointed, will be liable for
dismissal without notice.
Possession of minimum qualification does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for
Interview.
10. DOCUMENTS TO ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION FORM
Academic qualifications;- True copies of degrees, and Last Pay Certificate in case of
those employed, and other certificates of academic nature certified by Gazetted Officers
(other than the applicant) should be attached to the application form. All certificates in
original must be produced only at the time of interview and shall not be attached to the
Application Form, if any of the originals are not produced at the time of interview when
asked for, the candidates are liable to be disqualified,

If the applicant is employed and he/she feels that his/her application will not reach the Institute in
time, if forwarded through proper channel, may fill in an advanced copy of the application on the
prescribed form and submit it to the Institute and get the original application forwarded through
proper channel or produce NOC from the present employer at the time of interview.

Date of interview will be intimated through E-Mail. The Office will not be responsible for the late
or non-delivery of the intimation to candidate. Candidates are, therefore, advised to give their Email address and cell phone no. so that the intimation can be sent by E-Mail.

The selected candidates will be required to join duty immediately from the date of issue of
appointment orders unless otherwise instructed in the order of appointment.

Experience

Professor

Minimum of 10 years
teaching/research/industrial experience
of which at least 5 years should be at
the level of Associate Professor.
OR

Minimum of 13 years experience in

In case of research experience, good
academic record and books/research
paper publications/IPR / patents record
shall be required as deemed fit by the

If the experience in industry is
considered, the same shall be at
managerial level equivalent to

executing, analyzing, quality control,

Ph D shall be from a recognized University.

For an incumbent Assistant Professor, experience at the level of Assistant Professor will be considered
equivalent to experience at the level of Associate Professor, provided the incumbent Assistant Professor
has acquired or acquires PhD Degree in the relevant discipline.

Experience at Diploma Institutions is also considered equivalent to experience in degree level Institutions
at appropriate level and as applicable. However, qualifications as above shall be mandatory.

If a class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to
first class/division.
