LC05 - Bank Charges
14. 2. The entered value date is used to find the item on the

payment.
3. Enter the amount.
Make sure to put the negative sign, if the value is
negative.
4. Bank Reference: This is the field that directly clears
items using the assignment field stored in the
payments.

charges and interest, as it is directly posted in Main
Bank A/c.
15. We may often forget the statement number, opening &
closing balance of bank accounts. So to view them
follow the following steps:
Go to T Code: FF67 and click on Overview
Double click on the respective House Bank to view the
previous transactions.
We can view the Bank Key & Bank Account Number as
well through this.
Currently there are no statements created.
Now that we could see the previous balances, we will
go to T Code: ZFF67
1. Once all data is filled, press Execute.
2. Enter the Bank Key. (The Bank Keys in the system
are the IFSC codes of the respective banks).
3. Enter the Bank Account
4. Enter the respective statement number. Make sure
not to miss statement numbers as that could cause an
error. Always assign the next statement number.
5. Enter the Statement Date - The statement date
indicates only when the bank generated the statement.
16.
6. Enter the opening Balance, if it is nil, make sure to put
a Zero.
7. Enter the closing balance. If the transactions made in
the month, do not match the difference between the
opening & closing balance, the system will generate an
error. If the opening or closing balance are negative, put a
sign at the end of the amount.
8. Date under which the document is entered in financial
accounting
9. Enter any text for the Posting Session
10. Upload the file.
11. Click on Bank Postings Only.
17. After entering the required data, click on Execute or F8.
The following screen appears:
18.

After executing the first statement, this is the screen
that appears.
19.
Statement/list is saved & posted.
Now we will go to T Code: FF67, just to check whether
20.
the statement is posted.
Double click on the House Bank, to view the statement.
21. Then double click the opening & closing balance to
view the individual items.
22.
Bank Reconciliation is still not completed, as we need
to run SM35 to complete the posting session.
As you can see the line named LAVACAST1 as we had
entered in ZFF67.
Select that line and then click on Process.
The following screen appears:-
23. Make sure to select fields only as shown in the image.
And then click on Process.
Once this screen appears, that means all the line items
have been posted successfully.
Even the amounts that had to be cleared automatically
have been done.
24.
Then click on Exit Batch Input.
You can view the account balances, using T Code:
FAGLB03.
We will now try to post a wrong statement using
ZFF67.
Click on Execute.
As you can see that the opening balance of this
25.
statement and the closing balance of the previous
statement do not match.
The system should show an error.
This is how an error is displayed.
This shows that the Statement is not posted.
26.
Make changes to the statement and then post if
required.
