Once they have the clue they can work it out and
they will be able to plot the corresponding section on
the map (Google Tour Builder).
Students have to add images that they have
scanned to the corresponding destination on google
tour builder. If students are solving a clue about a
particular event or time period they need to write in
dates of the event theyre visiting.
The students will end up wit a tour plotted out on the
map and will have to check this with another group
to ensure they have the correct locations plotted.
SAMR
Substitution: The students will substitute the use of a
map for google tour builder. They will still be looking
at longitude and latitude as well as coordinates in
order to plot on the online map
Augmentation: tech provides functional improvement
as it is more detailed, can be carried easily, can be
used time and time again, plots can be revised and
changed etc.
Modification: The task is redesigned as students are
able to use QR codes and can add pictures and
additional information to the map they are creating.
Redefinition: QR codes were previously
inconceivable. Completed tasks can be sent to
teacher via email.
