Software version-up procedure for DST-i

1．Install DST-i Software.


At first, you should install DST-i Driver (Setup_DST-iV110.exe) according to Install guide. Then the "DST-i
Configuration Tool" will be available which is required for the following procedures.

■NOTE
・If your driver is older than V110, you must install the latest one by executing
Setup_DST-iV110.exe.
2．Confirm the version information of the DST-i Software.
If the version is not the latest one, upgrade to the latest version.
Always use the DST-i Software of the latest version.
This software may not perform normally if the version is not the latest one.

Select "DST-i application" -> "DST-i Configuration Tool" from the Start menu to initiate.

Select "Language" as needed.

Click "Version Information".


When the Version Information Read Preparation window appears, prepare as follows.
Connect DST-i to the PC with the USB cable.

* If DST-i has been initiated, disconnect and connect the USB cable to restart DST-i.

Click "read" button, if you prepare the Read Preparation.

When "Version Information" window appears, confirm the version information.

* For the current latest version, confirm from this "Update Information".
This version SHOULD be “Ver 2.0.1” like this. If the version is not the latest one, please upgrade the
version by executing “DSTi_Interface_V201.exe”.

If the version is the latest one, please finish the version confirmation according to the following procedure.

Click "close" in the Version Information Confirmation window.

Restart DST-i by disconnecting and connecting the USB cable, then click "close".

Click "OK" to finish, and finish “DST-i Configuration Tool”.


3．Update the DST-i Software.
Execute “DSTi_Interface_V201.exe” to update DST-i software.

Connect DST-i to the Personal Computer with the USB cable. (You don’t need connect VEH cable to
engine ECUs.)

■NOTE
・This version of program DOES NOT require the Personal Computer to connect to the internet
although the messages are displayed as the “procedure 1)”.
Click "next" button, when you prepare the install.

The version Information is displayed as following. When you overwrite DST-i software, click “Next” button.

Version *.*.*
Warning message will be displayed when the software is overwriting the DST-i software.
Click “next” when ready.
Do not implement the operations in a red box (warning) on the screen until the installation is complete.

Install procedure will takes few minutes.

When it finished, the message will be displayed.


Click “OK” button and complete all of the procedure installation.
