Module 1: Front-end Design & Development

Learn advanced design & development techniques using HTML5, CSS3,

Module 2: Programming Foundations
Understand the principles of programming in Java, the object-oriented
language. Understand the basics of creating a command line Java Application.
Get an in-depth understanding of the syntax and control structures used in Java.
Understand OOP concepts such as inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism
and multi-threading. Understand the basics of designing a data driven web
form.
Module 3: UI Frameworks
Techniques for gathering and analyzing user feedback. Indicators of user
experience. Steps in the user interaction process. Acquire knowledge on
Bootstrap. Understand the basics of Angular JS. Tests for software / application
design. Types of user response.
Module 4: Database Design and Development
Different kinds of data and their requirements. Elements of database schemas.
Various fields and components of database models. Mechanisms and processes
for data maintenance, storage and retrieval. Data warehousing processes.
Understand basics of SQL queries. Understand ways to design and implement a
MySQL database.
Module 5: Web Development Foundations
Understand the basics of Web Servers such as Apache and Application Servers
such as Tomcat. Get in depth knowledge of Servlets and JSP. Understand how to
use Struts framework to develop Web applications. Learn how to write test cases
for Web applications.
Module 6: Integrated Capstone Project
Use the skills learned in the 5 modules to build a community portal. Design a
MySQL Database and develop the community portal using Struts, HTML, CSS,
Javascript, Angular then demonstrate skills learned in the course.
The course is delivered virtually via the internet so you can study anywhere at
your convenience using your PC or laptop.

This is a total of 360 hours of curriculum delivery plus 540 hrs of self-paced
practice under the guidance of subject matter experts.
The training duration will be 6 months via a guided and structured curriculum.
Training is so focused and intensive that you will be skilled and job-ready as a
Full-stack Web Developer – guaranteed!
The first 3-month period of training is an intensive part-time training segment
where you will be taught the first 3 modules. This period is scheduled part-time
to give you ample time to prepare (e.g., apply for extensive leave of absence) to
do the second 3-month period full-time. Blended learning sessions are
scheduled in the weekday evenings (7-10pm) and Saturdays (11:30am-
7:30pm).
The second 3-month period of training is full-time, study, project work and job
search. During this period, you will be taught the last 3 modules. You will work on
a capstone project that mimics a real-life coding assignment to apply and hone
your skills. The project will also serve as your work portfolio to prove to
employers that you really have what it takes to do full-stack web development.
You can also start looking for a job. Blended learning sessions are scheduled for
8 hours a day from Mondays to Saturdays.
At this point, I must warn you. The Full-stack Web Developer Bootcamp is not for
the faint-hearted. It will require that you study hard, intently and with complete
focus. You will be coding a lot!
